Meet the Village Green of Wallingford team

Administrator: Beth Schmeizl

Elizabeth J. Schmeizl is a licensed nursing home administrator and is responsible for overseeing the operations, staffing and patient care at Village Green of Wallingford. She has 17 years of experience and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.

Director of Admissions: Sarah Fields

Sarah is responsible for assisting residents and their families in expediting the admissions process. Sarah has 9 years of experience in the healthcare field including Therapeutic Recreation and Care Management. Sarah holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Green Mountain College.

Director of Nursing Services: Linda Frisbie, RN

Linda is responsible for overseeing the health and welfare of all the residents at Village Green of Wallingford. She has 40 years of nursing experience and is a graduate of Northeastern University.

Rehabilitation Director: Matthew Connell, MPT

Matthew is the head of the rehabilitation team featuring physical, occupational and speech therapists and restorative nursing care. Matthew and his team help our residents achieve the highest level of mobility and independence as possible, with the ultimate goal of discharge to home for those residents who are able to return home. Matthew and his team bring over 25 years of combined rehabilitation and health care experience, and use these skills to help any resident needing skilled rehabilitation services. Matthew holds his Masters of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University.

Director of Social Services: Susan C. Lukas, LCSW

Susan is responsible for overseeing the Social Service Department. She is dedicated to providing therapeutic support to the residents at our center. Susan also ensures an easy and safe discharge for our short term residents returning to the Community. She holds a Master's Degree from Fordham University.
